Lester Van Slyke, Jr.
Attorney Lester Van Slyke, Jr. was born and raised in Fort Bend County and in 1982, began managing the law firm his father established in 1936. Since then, Lester Van Slyke, Jr. has become a trusted name throughout Richmond and Sugar Land, TX for expert family law service. He has years of litigation experience and has the knowledge to help clients with divorce, child support and custody, property division and more.
Lester Van Slyke, Jr. is licensed to practice by the State Bar of Texas, the United States Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas. He was educated at the University of Texas, the University of Houston and South Texas College of Law, and is a longtime resident of the community.

Michelle R. Kestler
Attorney Michelle R. Kestler attended the University of Denver College of Law from 1998-2001. In 2001, she graduated with an Order of St. Ives distinction in the top 10% of her class. She has been licensed to practice in Colorado since October 2001. She practiced at Pendleton, Friedberg, Wilson & Hennessey, P.C. from 2001 to 2005.
In 2015, Michelle became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She has had her own practice since 2015. On January 1, 2020, she merged her name with Lester Van Slyke, Jr.’s, forming Van Slyke & Kestler Law Firm.
